Hi everybody

I have installed Developer 2000 7.X  on my mahine. But whenever i am trying to Connect either through an ODBC link or SQL prompt i am getting this error:

The dynamic link library KG734.dll could not be found in the specified path.

I have searched out my whole  hard disk but this file is not at all there.
Where to find this file or how to resolve this issue.

This is urgent please.
Thanks

Ahmer

It ought to be in <<ORACLE_HOME>>\BIN\ directory. You can try to make custom installation of Developer 2000. By the way is it Forms6i or what ? I ask it because Developer2000 was "business" name.
KG734.dll is regarding Oracle database version 7.3.4, so it can be also a problem.

Maybe it uses some private ODBC or DLL components, please have a look using Microsoft Dependency Walker and SysInternals Process Explorer, Fixes are quite intuitive, just rename files you think are causing problem, so your app loads systemwide version of DB drivers.
