Explanation:
Problem with sending a SCSI command to SCSI device.

getting following error when backup tried to run had to yesterday install dell driver for tape storage would this have something to do with the error?

sorry this is the error please see above think i may have loaded an incorrect driver for the device

OK
6300 is a generic hardware problem. I suggest you do the following:
 - Try to upgrade any Firmware of the drive/lib device you have and upgrade the drivers for the SCSI adapter.

I need the exact models of the drive and the SCSI adapter your are having. I'll help you find the resources you need.

got onto dell and they have sent me the links to the drivers i need thank you for your help
