recommend server-based software to handle online auction

Hi,

Can someone recommend some server-based software to handle online bidding? We're using IIS (5.0). The requirement is to allow the visitor to enter their bid on the web page and then have that amount and their name display on the web page. If someone submits a bid that is less than the current amount showing, the bid would be rejected (ie: it would not override the current, higher amount).

All bidders are internal (people working for the same company), but they are physically located in different buildings.

There is no requirement for a 'shopping cart'....the highest bidder at the end of 14-days wins the auction item. The auction coordinator uses the information on the web page (amount bid and person's name) and contacts the winners by phone.

Would appreciate some help on this one. Thank you.

You didn't specify a preferred language, but you can find a several PHP auction scripts here: www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Auctions/index.html and ASP auction scripts here: www.hotscripts.com/ASP/Scripts_and_Components/Auctions/index.html.  Some are available for purchase, others are free.

I hope this helps.
