How to add Afee ePolicy Orchestrator ePO agent to Webshield e250 Webshield Appliance

I have recently installed a McAfee Webshield e250 appliance, the installation is ok and now have installed Epo server on the LAN. I have puchased enough licence for the nodes on the network including one for the websheild box.

I know how to distribute Epo on all NT Servers and PC's but don't know how to install an agent for the webshield.

In the e250 settings i can see and browse to an agent, but i do not know which which one, which agent is it looking for. Do i need to purchase a seperate one for the e250 box??

Any advice on this would be great.

When you purchased the McAfee licensing they should have given you a grant number. You need to use that grant number to login to the McAfee website and download the EPO agent for the e250/e500.

Go to www.nai.com - click on enterprise - on the left click downloads - under product upgrades click enterprise and small business - you'll promtped for grant number - once enter it you see a list of things that you can download one of them is the agent for e250/e500.

Hi, Thanks for that. You are correct i did not think to look at the downloads but to look only at the media CD.
