Hello together

How can I programm a side-bar for XP like there is one in Longhorn?
The Problem ist that it should automatically crop the screen, so if I maximaze a Window it should NOT cover the side-bar...

Is that possible?

Thanks

You have to create an AppBar and register it with the system using the SHAppBarMessage API:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/shellcc/platform/shell/reference/functions/shappbarmessage.asp

I don't have an example of this being used in VB.Net though.
