Hi there,

due to the way things where done b4 , we have 2 dsl line (1 BT adsl, 1 cable ntl)   is there any simply way (and cheep) of connecting both these lines together?

I throught maybe 2 routers into a single server and split the sub nets but I dont thing that would do the job, as what I would like is ,to put it simply, on a new connection always use the line lest in use

any one got any idears ?

Hi ja-notes,
It's possible to buy boxes that do this load balancing for you.  You could also look into doing something with a Linux machine.

An example of such a box is reviewed at http://www.adslguide.org.uk/hardware/reviews/2003/q2/neteyes_cyclone200.asp

Basically, it is possible - but you need to think about it carefully if you're running any Internet services such as webservers or mailservers.

I use a Xincom (lrmoore's list) and it works very well in my circumstances..  A combination of DSL and Cable...  Have found little to naysay regarding this product..
