Well i don't know of an easy way to hook it up to your desktop computer, but I really would like to buy that module, i only have a cd module in my c610. LOL.. I don't know if its against EE rules but if you want to sell it, i would be interested, (i have a dell c610 that the module would work perfectly in).<br />

The ports on the back of the dvd module are quite a bit different than the standard ide or even the mini ide (found on 2 1/2 inch notebook drives).<br />

Hi! a friend of mine gave me a dell cd-rw/dvd module 6p811-a00, the thing is I don't have a dell laptop... but I was wodering how can I connect this module to my pc, is there any kind of adapter for it? or what do I need? I'm not sure if this is the place to post this question but any help would be great!<br />
