Windows XP - RunTime Error - AcctMgr.exe "terminates it in an unusual way"

Hi, I keep getting the following RunTime Error message - ProgramFiles/NortonSystemWorks/PassowrdManage/AcctMgr.exe.   The application requested the RunTime to terminate it in an unusual way.  Please contact the application support team for more information."
I thought I would post here before "contacting the application support team" :)  Can any one help?

I use Windows XP SP2 and was trying to get Pinnacle 9 plus to work with a VCR when the problem began on Start Up.

I think this could be a problem with the application itself or the DLLCACHE of XP is having a problem.

Try to run a SFC  /SCANNOW from Start - RUN (popin the XP CD when prompted). This should help. If it fails, try to reinstall the application.

Thank you very much for the help. Reinstalling the application worked perfectly.  Sorry for posting the question in two places - I am new at the site; it is extremely helpful though.  Now to try and see why Pinnacle Studio 9 Plus does not "capture" from my VCR whereas Version 8 works perfectly well!
