Monitor failing?

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 950b CRT 19", about 4 years old.
It runs off my main PC and probably hasn't been shut down more than a month or 2 total in the last 4 years. It's on 24/7.
Recently, I've noticed the text, in particular, is getting harder to read. Blurry.
XP2 and I have "Cleartype" enabled.
Tried it on another PC with the same results. Put my 17" Dell on this PC and OK.
Is it time to ,(gulp), purchase a new monitor? Or is there something I'm missing.

Slow death but 4 years is a pretty good excuse to find a new one...T

That's what I thought.
Just wanted some reassurance.
Thanks,
