loging on to a dell computer

when ever i get a new dell or compaq computer they put some kind of a restriction on the administrator account if i try to logon it says can not log you on because of a account restriction. does anybody know what they do or how i can enable the administratore account?

Is your new computer(s) installed with XP Home Edition? If so, when you try to logon to Windows XP Home Edition using the Administrator account, you receive:

"Unable to Log You on because of an Account Restriction.

This is expected behavior.

Windows XP Home Edition only allows the Administrator account to logon in Safe mode."
