I have Windows XP Pro, Outlook 2003 and Exchange Server 2003.  When I address a new e-mail and I put in the first part of an address, I get a different address filled in by Outlook.  Example: The address I want is acctpay@blahblah.com.  I put in acctpay and it picks up Susy Homemaker who has NEVER had acctpay@blahblah.com as her address nor is acctpay any part of her name or account name.  I went to a computer running Win98 with Outlook 2000.  I logged on to the same network, same Exchange Server, and the same user.  It picks up the correct person when I enter acctpay and go to the next field.  I am moving more and more of my users to Outlook 2003 and need to solve this issue.

You can use the arrow keys (as you are typing addresses in the fields) to select an address and use the Delete key to remove it.

You can clear the entire autocomplete cache to start fresh. The autocomplete cache is stored in a *.nk2 file at C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. It's named after your profile and you can delete or rename it.
