Thanks, but I don't think people at EE like it when you award more than 500 points to a single question. :-(

Then again, I did not answer that question. I provided a useful hint. And the hint was to increase the size of the hash table to a large prime number to improve the performance.

Remember, if you accept this here, you cannot accept my answer in the other post anymore... You will have to accept another answer then. Something not related to hashing. ;-)

I know .. but I did say that any improvement will get rewarded and I'm holding on to that :)
and yes .. if someone answers the question I'll award him .. otherwise I'll PAQ the question

Good! Because I would not be fair if I would receive 1000 points just for a single answer. ;-) Then again, I could always add another, new answer.

Sorry,... the maximum is 500 points per question, not per Expert.
