Hi experts,

I have a very typical problem. We have a SQL Server 6.5 server with databases loaded.

We recently installed Windows 2000 Advanced Server in another machine. Tried loading SQL Server 6.5 on that. But it gets hung on installation.

We tried installing SQL Server 7.0 on the same server and tried moving the database from SQL Server 6.5 using DTS wizard. It fails saying sql driver incompatibe.

I also tried backing up SQL 6.5 database but unable to restore (.dat extension).

Is there a way to atleast to install SQL Server 2000 and complete the task of database movement.

Help me vey urgent.
