conecting to phpMySQLAdmin in Webserver database from VB6

Run time error -2147467259
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Access denied for user:
'username@xx.xx.xx.xx'(using password: YES)

while i tried to connect to my webserver database i found this error.

but in connection string i gave only the username. (without IP address)

how to solve this problem to connect webdatabase?

try this..

try  using RDO if it doesnto work...else

i tried the same.....

but this is the error message
