Error when trying to logging to SAP

When I trying to logging to SAp on my computer, I get the following error:

I have a windows 2000, the sap was installed for trainng purposes thus not connect to a server. I don't know how to setup the network setting. I need help.

Some software are specifically designed to work with a server. They implement only client end functionalities and hence are not usable as a stand alone product. I do not think you can run this software as a stand-alone product either.
