We bought 7 new workstations last month, and I installed the latest XP service pack on each one, and set windows update to automatic. I'm not at work now, but I'll double check this workstation tomorrow, just to make sure I didn't miss out the service pack.

Yes it's on a domain. The server OS is Windows 2000 server.

One of my workstations is extremely slow at transferrign files over to the file server. It works like a 56 K modem, or worse! The workstation is one of several new ones we just bought, with Windows XP on. None of the other workstations appear to have this problem.<br />
