I have an MSI file that I need installed on several machines. Essentially all it does is put dlls in their place, and register them. Is there a way to do this automatically when a computer logs on to the NW?

Do you have an Active directory domain? Are you domain administrator? Then you can use assign to computers in deployment policy. If you don't have a domain you must use third party network software delivery tools.
