ShellListView sort order

How can I change the display order of items in aTshellListView when in the vsReport style.

Jim Kunemann posted a workaround on the Borland newsgroups. I could not find it using Google but if
you search http://www.tamaracka.com you can find the post.

Search for this term "TShellListView and sorting and ^Delphi" (without the quotes)
and look for the thread started by Michael Murray on Feb 6th. Apparently it wasn't
archived by Google.

Anyway. you are going to have to rebuild the vclshlctrls and dclshlctrls packages. You must uninstall them first
and delete the vclshlctrls.dcp in the Lib directory before doing it. Set the DCP Output dorectory for vclshlctrls.bpl
to the Lib directory and recompile. Then recompile and install dclshlctrls.

I have not been able to get it to work for me in D6Pro but maybe it will in your version.

Some one just suggested using CustomSort as a simple way of doing it, but he could not give me any further info.

CustomSort won't work with TShellListview, besides, you have to crack it to
access it because CustomSort is not a method in TShellListView.
