I'm working on a method for modifying a user's MAPI profile automatically while preserving most of their other settings. <br />

The MS Office 2000 Resource Kit contains newprof.exe and modprof.exe for this purpose. When I try to run either of them they do not work. If you run them with the -S switch, they allow you to browse to the .prf file you wish to use. Also, it allows you to see any error messages that may come up when you run the program. Using this method, I was able to see that it was failing with a message saying &quot;insufficient memory...&quot; I have scaled down my .prf file and closed all other applications just in case memory is the issue (which I seriously doubt) and I still get the error.<br />

I have searched the web for evidence that anyone else has come up with this issue and found nothing. Have any of you had this problem or have any suggestions on how to solve it?
