Hi there I would like to build a game whereby the user can press keys on the keyboard and different notes of a piano will play. Does anyone know of anywhere on the net where I can download the piano sounds?

The average PC's MIDI player should be able to emulate a piano sound just fine.  You shouldn't need to download anything.

Most audio samples for instruments are copyrighted materials.  Roland, the keyboard manufacturer, supplies many of the sample libraries on the Mac and on the PC, I believe.
