If i have a JMenuItem, i have by default a space (i think 20px) on the left of the menu name (or left to the icon of the menuItem).

How do i remove this space? You can see in Intellij for example, in their menus, that they removed this space and you have an icon with no space left from it.

Hi yyl1,

You could play around with the insets, or you could write your own MenuItemUI.

but this is no solution. so why it's accepted? it didn't help at all and i knew what he said already. No reason for him to get the privilige for that.
