Does anyone have source code or a link to a tutorial that explains or shows how to create a query anaylser in vb.net.

the sample was over my head, i should be more specific when asking these questions
i am currenttly trying to figure out how to take an sql query from a text box and run it against a dataset to return the query, i'm working in visual studio in vb.net with an oracle database

Use Microsoft's OracleClient for .Net or Oracle's ODP.Net. The former is available from msdn.microsoft.com and the latter from www.oracle.com. Documentation and samples for both are available.
