Difference between JSP files and Faces JSP ones...

JSP's are bits of code which are compiled into servlets and run to output something to the client's browser

Java Server Faces (JSF) is a framework which is build on top of JSPs to allow you to design websites in a styleable way that follows the MVC architecture (Model View Controller).  Basically, they extract your code out of the presentation layer (JSPs), and into either a View layer or a Controller layer...  They allow you to change the way the site behaves without changing the JSPs
