Hi Guys,
Can u please help me out on this? My requirement is that they want LOV (Calendar) attached to the attribute1(DFF).
I have the same LOV to other items(which are not DFF's) and tried to replicate the same properties to the column attribute1(DFF). But i can't see the LOV.
Only thing that it is different in the property palette,
i left the canvas: <null> for attribute1 (Usually for DFF's the property remains null,to my knowledge)

Apart from that all the other properties are exactly the same.

Is it possible to attach the LOV to  the attribute1(DFF)  or else it can be done only on the front end of Oracle Apps?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Your question is something confusing. LOV and Calendar are two different things. ListOfValues are usually based on columns from the base table and it displays the values for the user convience. And calendar is an object for selecting date from calendar at runtime.

LOV can be made/attached using wizard specific for LOV in Object Navigator(Press F3). And its properties( like display automatically etc.) can be set using property palette ( Press F4).

Calender is something differnt think and we need to attach libraries for attaching calendar.

Hope this information helps you refining your question.

One thing more when you set a canvas property null. It is useless beacuase it can no more available for user intraction
