Syncing GoldMine email with Outlook

I'm on Windows XP Pro and have been using Outlook XP as my email client.  In the company we all just switched to GoldMine 5.7 and I want to know how to sync all my Outlook folders and all past emails and stuff -- so I can view, search, send and receive emails, all from GoldMine's email center.

Any ideas?  I can't seem to figure it out & I didn't find anything in the Help documentation right off the bat.

We use Goldmine 5.5 and there isn't really a way to synchronize the emails or import the emails into Goldmine, however you should have an Outlook option in your Mail Center that allows you to see your Outlook folders from within Goldmine.  If not, click on Edit, Preferences, go to the Internet tab, click on Accounts, then go to the Email Center tab and check the option that says "Show Outlook folder".  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response.  hmm -- what's the good of Goldmine's Email Center, then, if you still have to have Outlook open??

I mean, you can see your Outlook Folders, but not the emails in them.  And you can't import all your old emails?  Do you just have to start over clean and you have to open Outlook if you want to view any past emails?

I had heard that there is definitely a way to load all your old emails into GoldMine, but I just don't know how.  Any help appreciated.
