Relaying denied in MS outlook

Hi,

  We have two linux servers (redhat AS 3.0 ), one for application server  and that machine is acting as domain controller for windows xp pro clients and another machine (redhat AS 3.0 )  runs a dns and dhcp server which we are planing to setup a mail server using sendmail. and also we configured  webmail (squirrel mail ) . if we send mails to yahoo, msn, etc. from webmail in windows xp client its working fine (sending properly) . but if we  try to send mail to yahoo or msn or any internet mail  from Ms outlook it gives an error message that

    550 5.7.1 <sathya@vectrasystems.com>... Relaying denied. IP name lookup failed [10.0.0.189]

this is the error mesg while i try to send from MS outlook

plz help me to solve the problem

Hi orangescape,
Check if you've got the ACCESS_DB feature of Sendmail turned on.
This would probably be defined in your sendmail.cf / sendmail.mc files

Look in /etc/mail
You will probably see a file called "access".  Edit this file, it's what controls relaying in Sendmail.
The article http://www.sendmail.org/tips/relaying.html explains what needs to be set up.
