I would like to know how to configure a PocketPC running Windows Mobile 2003 to run a specific application whenever the device is turned on. Is there any reasonable way to do this, either programmatically or by configuring the PocketPCs a certain way? Thanks in advance for your help.

placing a shortcut in \windows\startup will not run application whenever the device is turned on but it will run whenever the device is soft reset .
