Installing ESSBASE under Windows XP and Office XP SP3

Hi Experts

I have installed ESSBASE 5.0.2  on a company laptop which is running Windows XP SP1 and Office XP SP3.  All the latest Microsoft and Etrust patches have been applied to this system.  Although the installation apprears to run faultlessly and exits normally requesting a reboot, when I load Excel, the Essbase option is not available on the tool bar.

Under the Programs option from the Start button, the only listing to appear is for Essbase Help Add-in.  The same installation works fine with Office 2000 however.

Can anyone advise what the problem is and how to resolve it?  This is rather urgent as I have staff travelling overseas in 3 days time - 500 points for the answer that works.

Thanks in advance :)

Support for Office XP began in Essbase 6.1.4.  You can check out the compatibility matrix here:

I Looked high and low for this link - guess I didn't look hard enough.  Thanks to Tommy for the link - this will provide the impetus for the company to upgrade.

cheers
