ERROR:

ORA-600 [17099]

VERSIONS:

versions 7.0 to 10.1

DESCRIPTION:

The error manager state is inconsistent.

FUNCTIONALITY:

Kernel Generic Error manager

IMPACT:

PROCESS FAILURE

NON CORRUPTIVE - No underlying data corruption.

SUGGESTIONS:

This error is normally seen together with other errors.
If the Known Issues section below does not help in terms of identifying a solution, please submit the trace files and alert.log to Oracle Support Services for further analysis.

Is this a repeatable error?
Are you running with sufficient hardware (processor/memory)?
Has your platform been properly configured (kernel parameters, etc)?
Have you applied the latest patchset for your release?

If you can answer YES to all these then post the steps that you take to repeat the error as well as your platform details.
