Sorry, I found the problem. After upgrading to MX I had a problem with text fields and BLOB fields in the mySQL database. It would appear that coldfusion was using default ODBC drivers even though I had been using the myODBC drivers with coldfusion 5. I ran the latest version of myODBC and everything is now fine.<br />

I'm using a text field in a MySQL database in a ColdFusion MX application. It all ran well in CF5 but now I'm using MX it creates an error. I tried to substitue with a blob field but that does the same thing. Can you help? There must be something quite simple here but I'm sorry I just cant see it!
