my boss is using "Surfcontrol" to monitor my websites browsing. Is there any way to counter this so he can't see what I'm doing via "Surfcontrol"?  can you trick this monitoring software? Or something?

If your boss wants to see what you're browsing on the web then he will. He's your boss and he has every right to.
