DrJava Plugin & org.eclipse.console.ui

I have some general questions about Java development under Eclipse...

Question #1...

One of the features I'd like is to issues a command in "immediate mode" and see the results.  (Something like this exists in VB.)  I want a window, and be able to enter (say)...

   System.out.println(sendTopic.toString());

and for the result to print...

Question #2...

Does anyone have an opinion about the DrJava plugin for Eclipse?

Question #3...

In installing an Eclipse plugin, I see the org.eclipse.console.ui is required.  How can I find this plug-in, or any plug-in?

Hi LarryAndro,

Q1: There is something called a Scrapbook Page which will allow you execute random code
Q2: Nope
Q3: You can find that under the Eclipse Software Update under the Help menu

The Scrapbook is nice!  I'm giving up on DrJava; taking too long to install and configure.  Thanks very much!!
