Win2K Term Services local printing error

I have 2 sites connecting into Terminal Services and both can no longer print locally. In the Event Viewer, the following error shows up whenever someone logs in:

Error: 1103

An internal communication error occurred. Redirected printing will no longer function.

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks. I followed this and loaded SP4 on the Server and the printing is functioning better, but the print spooler is shutting down about every 2 hours. I go in and restart it and printing works fine until it shuts down again. Any ideas?

Current patches?  There might be another patch for the spooler shutting down.

You can also automate restarting of the print spooler service.  First, if you look at the service, there should be a "Recovery" tab with options on what to do on failure.

You can also script it using a scheduled (or timed) script that checks to ensure the service is running

Yes, I've seen that I can automate it, but I was wondering if the continual shutting down is a signal of some other problem on the server. We are 2 weeks from replacing this server anyways, so it probably doesn't matter as much.
