I need help geting two computers networked together in order to share video and music files.I would like to get my windows xp home edition and ME computers networked. <br />

I have a cable modem (RCA) hooked up to a wireless linksys router that is hooked to my desktop computer. Cable from modem is going directly to the router and my desktop computer(XP) is wired to the router. The laptop (ME) is wireless and I access the internet with both computers but would like to share video and music files with the laptop. <br />
<br />
I know little about computers but am able to work myself through problems provided I have an experts advice. Please help , my kids are driving me bananas! <br />
