How can the Print Status Dialog be suppressed in VB.NET?

I have a VB.NET DLL that prints various forms. The PrintDocument.Print method is used handling the actual printing in a function. By default the Print Status Dialog shows up. Is there a method in which I can print without this dialog or suppress it?

The printdocument printcontroller handles that

try

PrintDocument1.PrintController = New System.Drawing.Printing.StandardPrintController
