Other Mail Program

I have set-up win2000 server with some help.  It has outlook express and microsoft exchange as well as our company mail program DMC.

1) Outlook express "test send and receive" works just fine, also a single email send out on win2000 through outlook express works just fine.

2) DMC "test send and receive" works just fine, but when I try to send out a single email on win2000 through DMC, fails with the error:

“SendTo: xxxx@mydomain.com  ErrCode: 4, Error: Error with sending recipients550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for xxxx@mydomain.com; <xxxx@mydomain.com> SMTP Server: mail.mymaildomain.com”

Quesiton:  Is there a setting somewhere that maybe needs to be set to allow DMC to send and actual email out?  Settings on Outlook Express and DMC are exactly the same for the mail account.  I have used DMC for many years, this is stumping me and somehow I believe it is a setting that must be configured on win2000 to allow this mail program to mail out the mail at the server level.

Thanks in advance....Precision

Ok, I went and printed that out.  This may be where the problem lies.  The "default policy" already has my domain under SMTP, but it is coming from DMC mail program and I assume then to exchange?  I am walking on new ground here, would I add a custom?  Any other ideas?
