Quark 4 doesn't like being installed from Classic mode. Boot into OS 9, and install Quark 4 from there. When running Quark you will also want to boot to OS 9 because Quark has serious issues running in classic mode.

OS 9 is already installed. You can do whatever you like with Quark as long as youre booted into OS 9. Do that by going to your System Preferences and changing the Startup Disk.

Weed, i originally had OS 9 and then i upgraded to OSX on the same volume. Can i still boot from the OS 9 las you suggested?

Yes, you should still be able to boot to 9 unless you erased it.

Isn't there any otherway to install the Quark from OS X, i mean when i run the installation all it said was to quit all running application, may be if i did that than it may work but how do i stop the running applications in OS X?

Sorry for hassling!
