my outbox refuse to delet the old messages

i have win xp Pro and outlook 6 the outbox refuse to delet the containg messages and sending it ever time i try to send another messages and growing up how to force it to be deleted after i send my messages ?

Are you talking about Outlook express ?

Try this.
open OE
go to tools --> options --> maintainence --> store folder and check the path there
close OE
go to that path (it might be hidden so navigate accordingly)
rename outbox.dbx as outbox_old.dbx
now open OE and check if that message stays in outbox..
