Ghost 2003 Compatability with Sata drives
My system is P4 3.2 Ghz, Albatron Itell 865 PE Pro11 1ghz matched Ram 128 Nvidia 5500 Video Card, 2 SATa 120 Gig Hard Drives. When I try to Ghost "C" Drive with Nortons Ghost 2003 it hangs after the PC boot. Is there a solution ?
Will an upgrade to Ghost 9 work,? or do I have to throw the Sata disc's in the rubbish bin ?
Can someone help.

I have discovered that both Powerquest 7 and Norton Ghost 9 will support SATA Discs.
Of course you will have to buy them.
Check out www.warezstore.com all the sotware is downloadable, cheep, and with reg numbers. The all download and automatically are burnt to a CD.

And actually, this EE question states:
"... the fact your using SATA, Ghost 2003 does not support SATA. I was lucky enough to find this by calling tech support after having the same problems crashign and not posting after it failed."

I've successfully used PowerQuest (now also a Symantec Product) Deploy Center on a Dell system with a SATA drive. That may help you, thoug of course, you'd have to buy it...
