how to do cascade deletion and updation through SE11

Hi!
i learning SAP
i created two tables one parent and the other child (relation ship defined). when i deleted some records from parent table the related values were still there in child table. My database is Oracle.
can anyone plz help me out.

Hi, I have never heard that this is possible, at least not in SE11. I think you have to got write your own deletion routines who do the job. The reason that this function is not there might be, you could end up deleting half of your sap because all tables are related.
Let me know when you find a function like this in SE11 or somwhere else in SAP !

SAP doesn't use database constraints for foreign key's. Relational integrity is maintained entirely by the application logic. So if you delete a row with open SQL, you will never see a cascade delete. It's the responsibility of your program to ensure relational integrity, i.e. you have to delete the dependent rows in the child table explicitly in the program code.
I don't comment wether this behaviour of SAP is good or bad - simply take it as a fact.
