hi everybody

I need to record voice file in mp3 format
any good libarary or code ?

I dont think there will be a free library of this sort as there are bids for such player

One way could be to record in WAV format and then convert it to MP3 using some open source or freeware utility. That could be done

this realy help a little bit , but can u name a freeware utility thats can be used as a thered party with minimum functionlity (converting wave to mp3) ?

I used to use. But it is not with minimum functionality

You can look into something which uses command line conversion.

on command line may work like this

This seems to be also a command line thing

Hi :
all the link thats provided above require $,also its not a libarary thats i can uase as a thered party , I did  my search i found alote of .dll fiels thats can be imported into vb like

laso the follwing link contains soem information about  bladeenc.dll but its not FREE
http://www.e-systems.ro/download-dll/bladeenc.dll

I hered that there is a dll coded by LAMA or Called LAMA(I am Not Sure), Open Source For Free ??
Have u any inforamtion about this ??

I also find a file called goog.dll used by in sample in www.vbcode.com but its crashs on 8khz

So Any more suggestions ??
