Hi Experts,

I was trying to open PDF or Text file within aspx but all in vain.
I have used sample accessing local file from help in Visual Studio by searching for File.Exists.

I would look at some sample code that does check security and may be something else I don't know about to be
able to access files from Network drives within aspx webform.

What else has to be done to make sure it is secure.

Make sure that you use appropriate permissions while accessing file over the network. What kind of autentication you are using? Do you know about permissions in web.config? If no checkout the following tutorial:
