I am developing an exchange server side application to examine message content. In order to accomplish this without adding software on production exchange servers, I am looking to redirect MAPI messages from outlook clients to flow through another exchange server where I install my server-side application extensions. My box would behave very much like a Front End Server or Bridgehead Server. This is in a pure Exchange 2003 environment.<br />

From what I can tell, the Outlook gets its profile from Active Directory, which always sends MAPI calls to the final Message Store. Is there a way to send it to another flow-through box, before it reaches the final message store.<br />

I can do this very easily in SMTP environment, using DNS MX Records redirection.<br />
