fixup

does the fixup apply to inbound and outbound connections or only inbound?

If the answer is the latter, would the fixup work between the dmz and inside interfaces and also between the outside and the dmz interfaces? In other words, I'm implying and asking if fixup works only between a higher to a lower interface and if there is a way to make it work in the opposite direction?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

i was kind of in a hurry and hence didn't have time to do research on fixups. I found the same URL and it's pretty good.
