C++ what is the name for a "}" ??? - lol silly and simple

Hello Experts Exchnage ,

lol I have a super taxing question this time. Can any one tell us what  "{" or "}"  names are. Do you call them curly brackets or what???. Lol this will settle a little debate im having with someone.
Yes I am asking the name of the } { bracket things!!!

I've always been told they were called braces. So that is what I use.

[] <- these are supposedly brackets.

aren't [ , ] square brackets cause surley the name brackets is reserved for ( and )
ok
so

[ and ] = brackets
{ and } = braces
( and ) = curlys

am i right ?? lol her's another 5 points, yup generous....

( and ) = parenthesis (for me anyway). the other two are right (in my opinion).
