Cable using ADSL Router
I previously had ASDL and was using a Netgear 834G adsl router.
I have now moved house and cannot get asdl until february next year!
Is there any way I can use my 834G on my NTL cable modem? or will I have to get myself a new Cable router and then get rid of it again once I go back to asdl?
Thanks
Andrew

There is no such thing as a cable or dsl specific router. Just configure yours for the cable service.

The netgear broadband router that I have only has an ASDL socket with 4 10/100 LAN ports but no 10/100 WAN Port that would be needed to connect my NTL modem to.

With a rebate you are looking at $15 cost.

Yeah, I know its not much, but still I'm stingy. Especially as I have just bought a house and am now looking to save money!
