Default IP address for undefined hosts in specific domain and the subordinates

hi experts,

is it possible to configure the built-in DNS server of W2K3 to automatically retrun a default IP address for all the unassigned or undefined hosts under a specific domain and its subordinate domains?

for example, the specific domain name is, which is to be managed by a W2K3's DNS server, host "" has its A record, points to i want the DNS server to resolve all other FQDNs under, like the follows, to the specific IP address such as

if it is possible, please show me how to do it. :)

i appreciate any kind of comment.

try this:
dnscmd dnsservername /recordadd * A
replace "dnsservername" with the name of your DNS Server :)
