I installed windows 2003 server a few months ago on an older server we have.  I activated through the internet.  Now we want to migrate all of the data from this server to a new one and retire the old one.  Do we need to buy another copy?  Is there a way to deactivate the license?

Just decomision the old server and activate the new one over internet, if it doesn't work call microsoft (the numbers provaded on the activation screen) and they will give you the new activation codes. You don't have to buy another copy.
