Solaris 9 and Sun 3000 Family RAID Storage

Can this RAID box be connected directly to a SUN server (440) without having to set IP addresses?

    Which model of Sun StorEdge you are talking about?

    Most of StorEdge array can connect to Sun Server through FC or SCSI without IP address.

    StorEdge 3150 FC Array

    Without IP address, I would have to use that correct?

       You need to have external FC connector or FC HBA card (such as Qlogics FC HBA) on your Sun 440 server.
