"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I too had faced a similair problem. After getting tired searching whether Flash provided a callback function when a playing file reached its end, I used a timer. In the timer I checked for Isplaying method of the ocx. If it returned true then the file was still playing else the file had stopped playing. I had done this in MFC but I think there will be no problem implementing it in VB
